A Shinto priest serving at Irazu Shrine (though he possesses absolutely no spiritual power). A friend of Officer Mitamura and an Aikido expert, he was never a delinquent. He collects antiques as a hobby.
He is one of the few ordinary people who know that the "Three Prankster Kings" are magic users; he has been roped into helping them, but has also sought their counsel himself. He feels uneasy about them witnessing the darker side of humanity through the incidents they encounter.
He does not have a girlfriend, though he was once attracted to a woman from the otherworld during a particular incident. The difference in his appearance between the versions drawn by Maejima and Mimori is more pronounced than it is for Mitamura.
