Biographie

Marin is an owner of a beach side inn and a mother figure to Sun Otonashi. She knows about yōkai since her husband was killed by Kanade Kamiya 4 years ago. Having her dream of opening the best inn possible damaged due to this incident, she became depressed and drank heavily until she found San struggling on the streets a year later, adopting her without knowing of San being a siren, the same species that killed her husband. When San revealed her true form after Kanade returns, Marin was at first horrified, but after San took a critical blow to protect her and defeating Kamiya, Marin came be thought of herself foolish to fear San based on her appearance, and came to accept her.
