Canas (pronounced /ˈkɑnɑs/[key][1]; Japanese: カナス Canas) is a shaman from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. As the only dark magic user available in the game aside from Athos, Canas travels with the group in order to expand his knowledge of the Dread Isle, and subsequently, dragons. Referencing how Blazing Blade is supposed to be a prequel to Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Canas is a son of Niime and the father of Hugh, two characters appearing in The Binding Blade.
