Anushka Sharma (born May 1, 1988) is an Indian actress and film producer who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. After working as a model, she made her acting debut in the romantic drama Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), earning a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actress. She subsequently starred in the romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), and starred in the satirical science-fiction comedy PK (2014) and Sultan (2016).
In 2013, Sharma co-founded the production company Clean Slate Filmz. She produced and starred in the road thriller NH10 (2015), and later acted in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), Sanju (2018), and Sui Dhaaga (2018). As a producer, she backed Phillauri (2017), Pari (2018), the series Paatal Lok (2020), and the supernatural thriller Bulbbul (2020). Following Zero (2018), she made a cameo appearance in Qala (2022) and appeared in the documentary series The Romantics (2023).
