Uto has a very whimsical personality, often waxing poetic about anything and everything--however, it's usually just nonsense. She calls herself a bard and acts like a wandering minstrel despite being an otherwise normal student. Uto sings and plays the ocarina. Though she appears to play very poorly even causing Mei to open her eyes.
