Shiho Shinozaki

She is a university student who wanders into Histoire, a lolita-themed concept café, where she meets Kohaku and slowly rediscovers her love for cute, frilly dresses. Though she is drawn to the world of lolita fashion, a painful event from her past has made her afraid to openly express what she likes, leaving her hesitant and emotionally guarded. Through Histoire and the people she meets there, Shiho begins a gentle journey of healing, self-acceptance, and reclaiming the part of herself she had tried to bury.

As a child, Shiho was nearly kidnapped while wearing one of the frilly dresses she loved. The man who targeted her had a fixation on young girls dressed that way, and the incident left everyone around her terrified and heartbroken. Seeing her mother cry made Shiho feel responsible, so she buried her love for cute dresses and became afraid of expressing her true feelings, believing that being honest about what she loved would only hurt the people important to her.
