Fenshen

Fenshen used to be a high ranking courtesan in Verdigris Hall. With a flinty and hard personality, she was unmatched at strategy board games. She fell in love with a man who could challenge her at those, but was later abandoned after bedding him.

Her mental condition degraded heavily and she mistreated her baby to the point the other courtesans took Maomao to raise her themselves. Ultimately she contracted syphilis and got bedridden in a backroom of Verdigris.
