A Merkit chief and shaman (Kam) who is capable of communicating with spirits. Despite their large age gap, he warmly welcomes Töregene as his wife for the sake of an alliance against the Mongols. He is a thoughtful and prudent man who consults the spirits and makes a painful decision as a crisis looms over his tribe.
