Hayasaka, a competent yet people-pleasing salesman, decides to let Kumagai, a part-time local convenience store worker, live with him in order to protect a cat he rescued. Although reluctant at first, Hayasaka gradually begins to feel comfortable having Kumagai stay with him and opens up about vulnerabilities he's never shown others.
