Tien Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American experimental filmmaker and First AC. She is currently based in NYC, where she primarily makes experimental and/or ethnographic documentary work with a focus in exploring through experimentation the emotionality of body, history, and ancient spiritualities in the modern age. As such, Tien approaches her work with the aim of bringing the metaphysical into something tangible that we can manipulate.
