Sean Ryan King (born May 4, 2006) is a Peruvian-American film director, writer, and producer best known for directing the critically acclaimed psychological drama Wailing Shells (2026), which earned him the Academy Award for Best Director at the age of 20. Recognized for his atmospheric visual style and emotionally resonant storytelling, King quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young filmmakers of his generation.
