Saulo Silva Dantas is a Brazilian filmmaker and screenwriter, born in Paraíba and raised in Rio de Janeiro. He develops independent, auteur-driven projects, exploring themes such as human contradictions, the complexities of the human experience, and ethical questions woven into his stories.
His passion for cinema emerged during his adolescence, leading him to study film language, film history, and narrative construction. His work places particular emphasis on atmosphere and the relationship between image and music, moving across drama, suspense, experimental cinema, thriller, and psychedelic storytelling.
He is currently focused on writing and directing independent film projects, developing a distinctive cinematic voice and seeking to transform personal ideas into stories for the screen.
