His real name is Suga Shinkichi (菅 伸吉). Katsushika Hokusei is his pen name for the manga and anime series, Master Keaton. One of his other pen names were Kimura Hajime (きむらはじめ), which was used when he wrote the manga Nanka Youkai!?
